Randa Jarrar’s struggles as she enters Israel are true and real and happen to many Palestinians that try to enter Israel. Though Americans do not need a visa to enter Israel, if one has a Palestinian ID or has ever lived in Palestine, they are immediately in the Israeli computer system as someone to watch out for. Being an American does not matter, they only needed information on her Palestinian relatives before deciding to kick her out and humiliate her.
